HOMEROOM INFORMATION

MONDAY FOLDER:  Folders will be sent home each Monday. In this Monday folder, you will find important notes and GRADED PAPERS from all subjects. Please look through these notes and graded papers carefully. Graded papers are the most important indicator of how your child is performing in school. Please sign the folder in the appropriate space. Remove the graded papers and notes from the “KEEP AT HOME” side, and return any graded papers that need to be signed/corrected in the “BRING BACK” side. These will be sent home for you to keep at a later date.

 

STUDENT PROGRESS:  Progress reports and report cards will need to be signed and returned as well. Progress reports will be sent home at the 3-week mark if your child is failing or has dropped more than one letter grade, and report cards will be sent home the Wednesday following the end of the six weeks.

 

ATTENDANCE: Parents have 3 days to send a note with the reason why the student was absent in order for it to be counted as excused. If there is a doctor's note, that will also work. Students have the same number of days to make up work as the number of days missed. (3 days absent=3 days to make up work) Students with too many absences in a time period will be reported to the attendance officer and a court report may be filed.
